NVidia’s New Titan X Announced

Earlier today at the Game Developers Conference, NVidia announced it’s next big thing: the Titan X.

More details will be released in two weeks, but so far, we can say that it’s built on the Maxwell Architecture, has eight billion (that’s billion with a B) transistors, and boasts a 12GB framebuffer.

The Titan X was demoed with a VR Experience created by Weta Digital, the folks behind the visual effects from The Hobbit films on the Occulus’ “Crescent Bay” prototype at a full 90 frames per second.

We will be waiting with bated breath for the rest of the specs. I see a lot of good times to be had with a graphics card like this.
