Splatoon Has Sold a Million Copies

Splatoon, Nintendo’s Paintball/Counter Strike/Squid Multi-player game for the Wii U, in case you haven’t noticed, is pretty awesome. So awesome that there’s been over one million copies sold, meaning that it’s been one of Nintendo’s biggest successes as of late. It’s actually a wonder, to me, why this wasn’t a huge announcement from Nintendo during E3, but does anyone really know why Nintendo does the things it does?

In related news, that sound you’re hearing is pretty much everyone I know yelling at me to buy it. I’ll get around to it, eventually, I SWEAR!

Love Splatoon? What’s your favorite gun to use? Tell us in the comments!

Author’s note: I want everyone to also know that the collective noun for squid is not “squad,” it’s shoal, and should never be squad.
